Great Aussie Stock Aids has been operating and expanding annually since 1979. Originally based in Katanning WA, the business was purchased by Scott & Nietta De Garis in 2001 and relocated to Arthur River WA.
Being ex-sheep farmers themselves, Scott and Nietta understand the need to provide a good quality but affordable product to the market. Base ingredients are sourced from quality suppliers and are purchased in bulk loads to keep costs down. A robotic palletiser was installed this year to improve efficiencies and ensure consistency in the bagging of the product.
Scott and Nietta are responding to market needs by expanding from their base product, Original Mix, to now offering a Urea Mix as a base line (Original Mix + Urea). They are also regularly making special mixes for farmers on request who have specific requirements.
Production and distribution has historically been focused in the southern areas of WA, however in 2009 a depot was established in New Norcia to facilitate a greater ease of distribution to the north, following greater demand in these areas. Great Aussie Stock Aids now has an extensive distribution of agents throughout WA and we are excited about branching into new areas.
